Trevor
Outside of work

Trevor lives in Coleraine with his wife, Alison, a primary school teacher and the couple’s two boys who keep them occupied and ensure life is never dull.

Having been an enthusiastic golfer in the past, Trevor’s family commitments mean that today he doesn’t have much time to spend searching in the rough.

Thankfully, Trevor’s children also enjoy another of his pastimes, fishing, so you can find the family relaxing while trying to tempt a few cod around the Skerries off the North Coast.

In the spotlight

My proudest moment as an IFA was…

Achieving Chartered financial planner status. It was a huge personal effort as I had a young family at the time, and I was relieved to pass my final exam and proud to achieve first place with the Chartered Insurance Institute.

The things I love most about my job are…

Working at a firm with a genuine moral compass, knowing I’m able to provide my clients with an independent advice service, and helping clients realise they can afford to make the transition into retirement.

The types of people I most enjoy working with are…

Clients with who I’m able to develop long-term relationships. I’ve built up personal friendships with many of my clients over the years and really enjoy working closely with them and their families.
