Jonathan Scott
Managing Director
Jonathan established Platinum Financial Planning in 2004 and has been managing the business and providing financial advice to a range of clients ever since.  Jonathan’s main desire for Platinum is to operate a firm with absolute integrity, loyalty, and transparency at its very core.
Jonathan is also a member of the Institute of Directors (IoD) and when he isn’t managing the business he is currently spending time working towards the Chartered Director Programme.
Jonathan specialises in providing people with knowledge of their investment, retirement and mortgage options. His aim is to help people gain a better understanding of their financial situation, understand what options they have and together build a plan that helps them to achieve their goals.
In addition to this, Jonathan provides a range of bespoke financial services to our corporate and organisational partners. These are long standing relationships that have been built on trust and mutual interest in achieving the right outcome for clients, members and/or employees.
For Jonathan, people are at the very heart of what Platinum does. This is reflected in a business that really cares about our clients and our employees. It’s important to Jonathan that clients enjoy engaging with Platinum and employees enjoy working at Platinum.
Jonathan has a real passion for Platinum and enjoys being involved in all areas of the business. He has a keen interest in staying up to date with new and emerging technologies and enjoys bringing forward ideas for our team to consider that allow the business to continually improve.

Outside of work
Jonathan is married with 3 young children. He loves nothing more than spending time with them when he is out of the office.
Jonathan is also a keen supporter of his local rugby club and still manages to play 5 a side football on a regular basis.
One day he hopes to have the time to work on his golf swing too!
