Jan:

Hi, my name is Jan White, and I’ve been a client of Platinum for four years. and my adviser is Jonathan Scott.

Rob:

When I retired, basically, I needed to provide myself with a pension. I had a pension pot, I had various investments and I needed to decide how best that they could fulfill my aspirations of providing me with a pension and a good lifestyle. He also takes into account any outgoings, any extra income like state pension, and as a result of that, he then allocates what he thinks, all in discussion with us, we need for a good standard of living.

Rob:

Anything that might be going on, if there are any issues that come up, through the companies that it is invested with, the team at Platinum, always seem to be on top of the case. and deal with it very effectively.

Jan:

I feel that our financial future is very secure, to enable us to live the lifestyle that we’ve planned for many years, and 4 years into our retirement, I think that we are really realising the dreams that we’ve had for a number of years.

Rob:

Jan:

I think the best thing about working with Platinum is that I know that they’re reliable. I also know that if I was feeling vulnerable in any way in respect to finances, that I could go to them. and I would get a response very quickly. A response that will be said to me, in layman’s terms, very easy, so that on that basis, I could make the right decision about what I want to do with my finances going forward.

Rob:

The best piece of advice that Platinum have given me was the allocation of my pension pot, and basically drawing it down so that it’s tax effective, and giving me the income that I require. I’d recommend Platinum to anyone that is needing financial assistance and advice, because they really do a very comprehensive review of an individual’s personal circumstances before making any decisions and give you all of the options that are available, highlighting the benefits and the risks.
