A Golden Milestone: Corrine and Ken Celebrate 50 Years of Marriage

Love is well and truly in the air!

This weekend, our team member, Corrine, and her husband, Ken, are celebrating an incredible 50 years of marriage!

They first said “I do” at the Old Inn at Crawfordsburn, on 15^th February 1975 and will be returning to that very place to celebrate this special milestone – A full circle moment.

A half-century of love, commitment, partnership and adventure is no small feat.

Looking back on their journey, Corrine has shared some wisdom from over the years.

“Fifty years together – some days it feels like a blink, but when we look back at the adventures we’ve had, like spending a decade in Florida, it’s amazing to see how far we’ve come.

The secret to our long and happy marriage? We share the same passions – fishing, gardening, and DIY projects. Our tastes are so similar that we can almost read each other’s minds! We do everything together.

But if there’s one piece of advice I’d offer for a lasting marriage, it’s this: Tell each other ‘I love you’ at least once a day.”

Corrine and Ken’s journey is a wonderful reminder that the best things in life are built over time, with patience, dedication, and commitment to the future.
