Open Ended Investment Companies (OEIC's)
What is an OEIC?
OEIC's operate in a similar way to Unit Trusts except the fund is actually run as a company.
OEIC's are open ended funds which mean they can get larger or smaller depending on the number of investors who wish to buy or sell shares. As more people invest in the fund the number of underlying shares grows. As they sell the number reduces.
